3 bedroom 1 bath apartment available now (between mid-June and July 1st) for lease takeover with option to renew at the end of October, this year. Rent is $3200 for the whole unit, electric, gas, and wifi separate. Location is border of Fort Greene and Bed-Stuy, 4 min walk from the G train. Need: credit score 675+, income 40x rent (total, combined income) ((guarantors accepted)).
THE APARTMENT: High ceilings, TONS of natural light, and hardwood floors. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there is a living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Move in with 3 people or just 2 people and keep the extra bedroom for activities! I’ve used it as a guest room while living here. 4th floor (walk up) but also the top floor, so no upstairs neighbors, and- roof access!
THE TRANSPO: G train Bedford-Nostrand station is only a 4 minute walk away! 30 minutes to Manhattan (by either North route: G to the L train, or South: G to the A/C), 35 minutes to midtown (G to the A/C or G to the E through Queens) we are magically sandwiched between not one but TWO major bus lines that run very often (3-5 minutes) and have express lines (B38, B38 LTD, B44, B44 SBS). The G train Bedford-Nostrand station is also the midway point of the G line, and therefore, they *never* shut down our station when they work on parts of the G train. It’s truly a magical transportation haven.
THE SITUATION: I love this city and love this apartment, but unfortunately I’ve come down with a sudden debilitating health issue, and I need to move out of the city as soon as possible. I’d like to find someone to takeover the lease, preferably immediately, but definitely by the end of June. I have a couple of pieces of furniture I won’t be taking with me, so if you’re interested in moving in and taking some of it that’s up for discussion! I’m super super sad to have to leave this gem but I’m hoping to pass it on to someone/s who can carry on the good vibes in the apartment.
My name is Helena (she/her), and I've lived in the apartment for 2 and a half years with various friends of mine. I dance and work in the city, and will be transitioning my job to remote when I move away. I love the apartment and I'm sad to leave, but I have pressing health issues that need to be looked after. I'm here to give you an apartment tour and answer any questions you have.

Need: credit score 675+, income 40x rent (total, combined income) ((guarantors accepted)). The lease transfer will be done through the management company, who are responsive to maintenance and other concerns but generally pretty hands-off and don't bother us at all.
You need to get pets approved by the landlord. No other requirements are listed in the lease. There may or may not be a pet deposit.
