I’m leaving my cozy, sunny bedroom in Park Slope at the beginning of October, and my landlord is open to signing a 6- or 12-month lease with a new tenant. The room fits a full bed comfortably (or a queen, if you’re ambitious) with access to a private backyard. All furniture pictured (bed, mattress, wardrobe, bookshelf, rug) is available for purchase but can also move out with me. With a huge window and the back door, there’s fresh air galore; the room stays breezy in the summer and warm in the winter.

The apartment is a 2-bedroom railroad with a fully furnished living space (couch, rug, table, chairs, TV), 1 bathroom, and a massive kitchen. Spectrum, gas, and electricity are all set up, though not included in rent. It’s on the first floor of a small building with a very responsive super and friendly tenants. Pets allowed, once approved by landlord. (Someone’s furry friend should use that backyard!)

Neighborhood-wise, this place couldn’t be better. You’re close to the F, G, R, and many bus routes, on a block with coffee, Greek and Italian places, and a gorgeous community garden. Venture one block up to all the food you could want on 7th Ave or down to 5th for all your errands. Take a 12-minute walk to Prospect Park and Nitehawk, or enjoy a 15-minute stroll to Greenwood. Truly, this area has everything you could want out of Park Slope life: cute shops, park access, and a peaceful area full of young families and adorable dogs. I’m sad to be leaving!

My lovely, welcoming roommate (who occupies the front bedroom) will be staying on the lease, and we are looking for someone kind, considerate, and responsible to join him. If you’re interested, we will respond to set up a meeting and a tour. Please note, this is a non-smoking apartment!
