Hi! I'm moving to California and looking for someone to take over my lease. The unit is a courtyard-facing studio in a newly built and highly rated luxury building in the Nomad/Flatiron area of Manhattan. Apartment amenities include a full set of appliances: full-size refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, washer/dryer, and dishwasher. There is also a closet with built-in shelving, drawers, and hanger bars that is not shown in the photos. Building amenities include in-unit laundry (in addition to a common building laundry room), a gym, a lounge, a conference room, a golf simulator, a sauna, a lap pool, and a children’s play room. Both the amenity fee and the rent stabilization surcharge (421) are included in the figure I list here ($4360). The only thing else you pay is utilities. The doormen/concierge people and repair people are great.
The photos are from before I moved in but they are representative. Aside from a few minor furniture markings on the wall the place is in great shape. If it suits, I'd be happy to leave a queen bed (Kiwi Organic, six months old) with bed frame and a glass table with metal chairs. Otherwise the unit will come unfurnished.
The ideal start would be 5/13/2026 but I'll consider dates between now and 6/1/2026. The lease ends 10/14/2026. You would have the option to renew.
