This is a great industrial building in Brooklyn filled with artists. It’s clean and well maintained with nice bathrooms and great management. Slope sink, freight elevator directly outside my door, an area to sit outside. You can also open the downstairs door from your phone which is amazing. Most people rent here for many many years.
This studio is on the third floor although it’s more like the second. It’s north facing so no intense light changes. It has a slope sink in the room, a photography background set up, and wood shelving.
I am looking for a night owl ideally but am open. I’m looking for someone who is respectful and clean ish. Someone who works well with others. Non toxic materials would be ideal. Designers, writers, painters, or any other creative use would be great.
This is a new space so I’m open to decoration and setup ideas! Planning on a comfy chair, mirror and mini fridge for now.
I’m an oil painter doing surreal figurative work. I’m 26 and I’ve been making art for about 6 years. I’m pretty quiet and to myself. I like to vibe out in the studio and I’m hard working.
I really appreciate people who think of others more than themselves because sharing a space really requires that. I try my best to remind myself to do this.
