Hi! I am looking for a subletter for the spare bedroom in my lovely apartment. The room is furnished with a full-sized bed, a desk, dresser, lamp, shelves, and a very large closet. Note that the pictures of the room are how a former roommate had the room setup, but all the furniture is different now with minimal wall decorations. I'd love to sublet for the listed time to one person - but I am also open to discussing shorter (or longer) needs.

This apartment is incredibly convenient - just 2 blocks away from Atlantic Terminal and 3 blocks from Hoyt-Schermerhorn. We are near the cross streets of 3rd Ave and Atlantic Ave with a grocery store and many restaurants on the block. We have a large living room with a projector for movies and streaming, a fully equipped kitchen that is good for anyone who might like to cook (with a dishwasher). We are on the top floor of a 3-story walk-up, which means excellent light (lots of plants). The bedrooms are in the back of the apartment (not facing the street), so it's pretty quiet and we have a lot of storage space. Price does not include utilities - wifi, electric, and gas is usually another $100 or so a month (depending on A/C use, it might be a little more).

I travel a decent amount for my work in international development - you'd have access to some extra space and a balcony when I am not around. I also do a lot around sustainability and food systems, and our kitchen is set up for composting at a nearby community garden and with a lot of staples from my food co-op - if you are into that sort of thing, would love to share that. The apartment is also near several Citibike options, and we have extra helmets around. The space happily hosts the occasional dinner party or game night but is not a party house.

Happy to answer any questions, set up a tour (in person or on video).
Best,
Alli
