Flexible occupancy during the months of September/October for a minimum of one month.

We're seeking a relatively quiet space, ideally a maximum of ten to fifteen minutes walking distance to multiple subway lines. We enjoy cooking so would appreciate a kitchen supplied with the basic items. A separate living area with a sofa is a must.

We're flexible as to location though the northern part of Manhattan has worked well for us on past visits.

We're retired professionals, one from finance and accounting (her) and one from urban transportation systems and disaster recovery (him). We're also social ballroom dancers and culture lovers, particularly performance art.

Since we no longer reside in New York, we've made it a priority to reconnect with the ballroom community and arts scene there. Listings Project has been extremely helpful as we've sublet previously in NYC and LA.

We are both quiet, respectful and neat. Our history is to treat any space we are in as if it was our own. That applies to your cats and plants should they need care while you're away. Both of us have experience with a variety of animals, though we'd prefer to care only for cats. One is a Master Gardener so if you have outdoor space that requires care, that would also be available.
