A carefully renovated garden-level apartment in a two-family Bed Stuy brownstone on Bainbridge Street between Howard and Ralph Avenues. The apartment has its own entrance and has garden access. Period details, hardwood floors, good light, a new kitchen with an electric range and a dishwasher, a bedroom with a garden view, and a study/laundry room with a washer/dryer and built in bookshelves and desk. This room leads into the garden, which has raised beds and fruit trees.
My partner and I live in the apartment above. We may occasionally need to access the cellar via the apartment's corridor. We will share the garden. Our next project is planting the front yard, so the garden-level apartment will soon have an even nicer view onto the street.
The apartment is very near the Ralph C stop and short walks from Utica (A) and Halsey (J). There are plenty of good places to eat nearby, including on Malcolm X (Chez Oskar, Dar525, Badaboom, Bakery by Textbook). The block is not always quiet but is exceptionally friendly.
I (she/her) am an editor from the UK; my partner (they/them) is a writer. We are the landlords and will be showing the apartment.
We will be showing the apartment on Friday Feb 27, Saturday 28, and Sunday 29. Please email for an appointment, sending a little information about yourself.
