Centrally located on 1st street between 6th and 7th avenues,with 3-4 bedrooms, 2 baths, a chef's kitchen, a lovely back deck and a backyard with outdoor grill. Just two blocks from stunning Prospect Park and a short walk from all the major subway lines to Manhattan and other boroughs. The house is well-loved, warm and welcoming -- a few cracks in the walls and floors that creak, but very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The neighborhood is fabulous-- full of good restaurants and cafes, bookstores and small boutiques, tree-lined streets. Pets are welcome. Prefer a three month rental but would consider shorter stays.

I am a documentary filmmaker with three adult children, one or two of whom still use the space depending on the season! We've been living in this house for 25 years and now that the kids are grown and my husband and I are separated (but still close!) I travel more and spend more time at my home in Columbia County during the summer, which is why I'm looking to rent the house. The house may be available for sale sometime next year, so if you are interested in a rent-to-buy, the option is not off the table. I will be the contact person for the tenants.
