We're hiring a Part-Time Sales Associate (20–35 hours/week, evenings and weekends) to help bring BARIZI’s vision to life in New York City. The role starts in August 2025, with a 90-day evaluation period and regular performance check-ins.
As a Sales Associate, you’ll provide thoughtful, story-driven customer experiences, maintain our visual merchandising standards, and contribute to the collaborative energy that makes BARIZI more than just a store. You’ll also represent the brand at events and help build a welcoming environment for every visitor.
Must-Have Qualities & Skills:
- Must be over 18
- Must have weekday evening and weekend availability
- Able to stand and move around for an entire shift (6-8 hours)
- Able to lift and move at least 23kg or 50lbs
- 1+ year in retail, hospitality, or customer service
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to troubleshoot as needed
- Strong and proactive communication skills
- Comfortable in cosmopolitan and diverse social settings
- Detail-focused and experienced with POS systems
Nice-to-Haves:
- Background in crafts, design, or visual arts
- Multilingual skills
- Social media or content creation experience
- Previous entrepreneurial experience
