Spend your summer in a peaceful, character-filled East Village apartment with classic charm and beautiful light. I’m offering the private, locking bedroom in my one-bedroom apartment—ideal for someone seeking a quiet, comfortable home base in NYC. The room is available from June 1 through September 1, with flexible dates and shorter stays considered for the right person.

This is a unique co-living setup: you’ll have the bedroom entirely to yourself, and we’ll share the kitchen and bathroom. I’m an artist currently preparing for a solo show this fall, so I’ll be working long hours at my nearby studio, often well into the night. I’ll frequently be out of town or staying at the studio or with friends—so you’ll often have the place to yourself. On the nights I do stay over (likely more nights than not), I’ll quietly arrive around midnight and sleep on a stowable floor mattress behind a curtain partition in the living room. In the morning, I’ll put the mattress away before heading out—leaving the living room all yours again.
