Hi! I’m subletting my studio from January 11 through May 31 (end date can be somewhat flexible!) while I am abroad.

My studio is a calm refuge from the city and stays very quiet throughout the day, and in the warmer months it also has especially nice light. It's fully furnished, with a full-size bed, desk with external monitor and office chair, a small couch, a café table with stools (and two closets -- ample storage!). The kitchen is separate from the main room and is fully stocked with everything you'll need to cook. It's got a gas stove and plenty of cupboard/pantry space.

All utilities, A/C, and wifi included in rent!

The studio is located in an historic building in Yorkville and faces the interior courtyard, so minimal noise. (Please note that it's on the 4th floor, no elevator!) My neighbors are very kind and quiet, mostly working professionals, and so I'm looking for someone considerate and responsible. That means no smoking, no parties, and no pets!!

I do have a few small (very easy!) plants that like water every two weeks or so ;)

In terms of the neighborhood, it's very family-friendly and chill. There are plenty of grocery stores, bars/pubs, cafes, and restaurants nearby, as well as Carl Schurz Park (about 5 minutes on foot), John Jay Park (3 minutes) and the East River Esplanade (great for jogging). Central Park is a 20-minute walk away, as is the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
