Hi! I’m subletting my studio while I am abroad on a fellowship. I'd love to find someone from January 11th through May 31, but can be somewhat flexible on the end date. All utilities (including A/C and wifi) are included in rent, and January would be prorated at $1795.

My studio stays quiet throughout the day (it's a good WFH environment), and it has nice light in spring and summer. It's fully furnished as you see in the pictures, with two closets for you to use -- ample storage! The kitchen is separate from the main room and is fully stocked with everything you'd need to cook, as well as plenty of cupboard/pantry space. There's also a laundromat for the building around the corner.

The apartment is on the 4th floor of a six-story Landmark building from 1911. It’s a walk-up (no elevator) and overlooks the interior courtyard. My neighbors are kind and quiet, mostly working professionals, and so I'm looking for someone considerate and responsible -- sorry but no smoking, no parties, and no pets!!

I do have a few small, easy plants that like water every two weeks or so ;)

In terms of the neighborhood, it's very calm and family-focused (definitely not a party area, so those looking for nightlife might have better luck elsewhere!). There are plenty of grocery stores, bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby, as well as Carl Schurz Park (about 5 minutes on foot), John Jay Park (3 minutes) and the East River Esplanade (great for jogging). Central Park is a 20-minute walk away, as is the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

I’ve put a lot of care into the apartment and hope to find someone who will treat it like their own home while I’m away!
