Hi all, I'm looking for someone to take over the lease in a beautiful 2bd/1br in Park Slope. This has been one of the cleanest, most well-managed buildings I've ever lived in but I lost my job and have to figure out a cheaper living situation :'). You'd be living with an early 30sF rock climbing, weightlifting, art loving software eng.
The building is on President St. near the Union St. R. It has an elevator but it's just slow enough that I take the stairs most days. Packages are left unattended in the hallways (we have had a small amount of theft just fyi, but we still leave packages in the hallway anyway - it's too convenient). The whole building is cleaned pretty frequently and garbage bins are in the outside in the parking lot in the back. We've never seen pests! The building owns the parking lot, and there's a waitlist to get a space if that's something you'd be interested in. Washer/dryers are in the basement.
I don't know the sqft but the room is big enough to fit my desk, a couch, and a queen bed.
Cost-wise we have rent at $1931. Utilities (wifi/electricity) per person are around $75 up to $150 if you run the ac a lot during the summer.
We're looking for someone who is clean and cool with a roommate that works remotely 9-5ish in the living room. To give you a general vibe of the apt, mostly homebodying with the occasional movie night, pet sitting, or clothing swap. Let's chat to see if it's a fit!
Me (moving out) - mid 30sF software engineer, loves soccer, ultimate frisbee, surfing, the dirtier one
Your future roommate - early 30sF software engineer, loves rock climbing, reading, lifting, swimming, British and Australian TV shows. Super clean
Current tenant
- Lease takeover until 11/30/2025
