Located in the heart of the charming Upper East Side, the high-rise is very secure, with a 24/7 doorman, laundry in the basement, and cameras in the elevators, lobby, and basement. Light housekeeping (bathroom cleaned, towels/bedding laundered and changed) cheerfully provided at no charge. I’m an art journalist, home health aide, and caterer’s/chef’s assistant with one gentle and very friendly dog (he does not have access to the guest room, but is always available for therapeutic pets, or not, as preferred).

The original tenants of this apartment were my parents, an artist and a Metropolitan Museum curator, who came to the United States from Hungary in 1957 and moved to this apartment in 1969.
