I’m subletting my furnished room in a spacious, split-level 3BR apartment in Bushwick while I visit family in California. Ideal for a student, intern, or remote worker looking for a calm, well-connected summer stay.
The room is fully furnished with a bed, desk, loveseat, and a standing fan. Rent is $1,300/month plus utilities (usually $75–100). A one-month security deposit is required. You'll be sharing the apartment with two respectful roommates in their 30s: Lisa lives upstairs and works in music/advertising; Jonathan lives downstairs across the hall from the sublet room and works remotely as well. Both work from home (upstairs set-up, LGBTQ+ friendly, and value a clean, low-key living environment.
The apartment has two shared patios and an in-unit washer/dryer. The space is split between two floors—your room is on the lower level, next to the shared bathroom and kitchen while the upper level features a large loft-style common space. Unfortunately, no pets : (
We're located between the J (Kosciuszko) and M (Central) subway lines. The Dekalb L is about a 15-minute walk or a short bus ride. Easy bus access to Downtown Brooklyn. The neighborhood is quiet, community-oriented, and close to parks, grocery stores, and coffee shops and everything you'd want.
The sublet runs from June 15 to August 15, but the dates are flexible. This is a great spot for someone who’s independent and tidy. Bonus points if you’re willing to water the plants in my room lol
If interested, message me with a bit about yourself and the dates you’re looking for. Happy to send photos or set up a virtual tour.
A little about me: I’ve lived here for four years. I moved from California, where I was a teacher, and I’m currently finishing my Master’s in Urban Planning at Pratt (I’ll be done next May).
I'm a tenant on the lease.
