Location: Remote (with potential for limited on-site coordination if local)

Compensation: Paid. "The compensation will be based on the individuals proposal and their own pay structure for a job like this. I’m open to their pay structure based on their own experience."
Description:
An artist is seeking a projection mapping technician or consultant to support the realization of a site-specific video installation inside a small chapel. The installation centers around a video of the full moon, to be projection-mapped onto a large circular fabric surface within a freestanding frame. The artist has interest in learning how this is done, if there is time to have a walk through (this portion would also be paid).
Responsibilities:
– Provide technical consultation and/or remote guidance on projection mapping setup
– Assist in selecting and configuring the appropriate software and hardware
– Offer support in calibrating the projection to fit a circular surface
– Alternatively, convert the video and provide install-ready mapping files with clear technical documentation if hands-on collaboration is not possible
–Provide trouble shooting assistance through the installation dates, should there be any technical adjustments.
Qualifications:
– Experience with projection mapping, preferably onto custom surfaces
– Familiarity with tools such as MadMapper, Resolume, or similar
– Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with artists unfamiliar with mapping workflows
– Interest in or sensitivity to quiet, atmospheric installation environments a plus
Timeline:
Planning to begin tech setup soon, with installation scheduled the week of November 5th.
