CF Studio is looking for a highly organized, proactive Studio Coordinator to support the operational, logistical, and outreach needs of our small but mighty studio. This role is ideal for someone who is curious about the inner workings of the social impact sector—particularly in the worlds of philanthropy, publishing, nonprofit management and coalition building - and who thrives on keeping projects and people on track.

This is a 10-12 hour per week remote role based on the needs of the studio, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Calendar and scheduling support across projects, clients, and events
+ Drafting and formatting documents: agendas, outreach emails, briefing notes, and project trackers
+ Coordinating production logistics for events and convenings (virtual and in-person)
+ Supporting media and outreach efforts, including podcast pitching, maintaining press and contact lists, and tracking follow-ups
+ Supporting new business pitches, including research, proposal drafting, and client contact.
+ Managing internal systems and timelines: file organization, task tracking, reminders, and occasional research
+ Researching and synthesizing information as needed
+ Helping us stay organized, aligned, and ready for what’s next

We're looking for someone who is:

+ Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
+ A clear, proactive communicator who anticipates needs and closes loops
+ Curious and motivated by the work of cultural change and collective care
+ Comfortable with Google Suite, Zoom, and a quick study with project management tools
+ Interested in the worlds of social impact, organizing, philanthropy, and/or publishing
+ Energized by back-end operations, making things run smoothly behind the scenes, and being a trusted right hand

DETAILS:

–Part-time: 10-12 hours per week, with the possibility of additional time depending on project flow
–Compensation: $25-30 /hour depending on experience
–Fully remote, with preference for someone who can work in Eastern time zone and even more preference for someone with access to the NYC-area. (for occasional in-person meetings and event production)
–Reports to: Principal, collaborates with Marketing Manager
–Start date: June 2025

Carla Fernandez helps organizations build circles of care and action to address today’s most pressing social challenges.

Her studio has two main wings. One wing is her consulting practice, where she partners with foundations, impact networks, and innovation teams to deliver strategy, experience design, and facilitation. Her clients include The Rockefeller Foundation, a stealth artist network, and the U.S. Census Bureau.

The other wing houses Carla’s personal community organizing projects, primarily focused on building cultures of care around grief and loss. Carla is the co-founder and board chair of The Dinner Party, a peer-support network for young adults navigating grief. Her first book, Renegade Grief, came out this year with Simon & Schuster.
