Light, furnished, pretty studio apartment in Prospect Lefferts Gardens available mid January for a minimum one year rental.
The kitchen and bathroom were renovated two years ago. The apartment has hardwood floors, a bathtub!, good heating, a large fridge, some gorgeous morning light and birdsong, and faces an internal space so it’s pretty quiet. It’s a third floor apartment with an elevator.
The building is a friendly co-op with communal events, is maintained by an onsite super and two porters, has two communal laundry rooms, communal outdoor space, and bicycle storage for a small fee. No smoking in the apartment or pets are permitted.
Near the Q, B, 2 and 5 trains and some buses and 6 mins walk from Prospect Park and the subway stop Parkside. The neighborhood (Little Caribbean) is eclectic and multicultural. It has a number of new cafes, restaurants, a gym, grocery stores, and a farmer’s market across the park on Saturday mornings. It’s also pretty close to the Brooklyn museum and Botanic gardens.
The rent is $2200 per month with heating and hot water included.
I’ll bring my personal items with me when I go and leave all the furniture.
Hi there! I’m English and going back to Europe mid January. I or the broker, Sora, will show the space and I’ll be your first point of contact for the apartment.
Warmly,
Chloe ( she/her)
I pay the broker fee. The co-op then vets prospective tenants and charges around $400 which I can split with you.
Apparently the application process can take up to 4 -6 weeks so some flexibility re move in date is helpful.
