About this Service

Together we will navigate the complexities of adulthood, whether you are a college student, professional, or an adult facing life transitions. We can deal with issues like anxiety, depression, identity exploration, or the stress of balancing multiple responsibilities. I provide a warm, affirming, and non-judgmental space where all parts of you are welcome. We are each multifaceted individuals challenged to find our authentic selves, and that can be a hard journey without someone to cheer you on. I aim to help you find clarity, build resilience, and cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself.

I believe in a personalized approach that meets you where you are in your life. I incorporate a variety of different styles and techniques depending on what is going on in your life and what you need. In the initial sessions, you can expect me to get to know you and what is going on in your life. Known for being thoughtful and understanding, I ask questions to spark reflection and help you gain insights. Establishing a solid connection is essential; I aim to create a space where you feel at ease, understood, and never pressured to share anything until you're ready.

My work is rooted in cultural humility, inclusivity, and trauma-informed care. I am committed to affirming LGBTQ+ identities, honoring neurodivergence, and understanding how race, culture, gender, class, and ability shape each person’s unique experience.

About this Lister

Throughout my life, I have always had a passion for the helping profession in various settings. When I was eight years old, a classmate locked themself in a closet and refused to come out. Teachers couldn’t reach them, but the classmate asked for me. I went inside and simply sat with them. I don’t remember what we said, but I do remember what it felt like: being present, offering comfort, and reminding someone they weren’t alone.

That early experience shaped the work I do today. I know what it’s like to feel isolated, and I carry that with me in my work as a therapist. My role is to sit with you in those difficult moments and help you find your way forward.

Background and Expertise

I hold a Masters’ degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University. I have completed advance training in psychoanalytical psychotherapy at New York Counseling and Clinical Social Work Services. Currently, I am in a post graduate program in trauma studies at Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in New York City. I am compassionate and empathetic, who strives to make every session nonjudgmental, and accepting space. With a commitment to inclusivity and trauma-informed care, I help clients navigate life's challenges and heal from past experiences.
