PT or FT caregiver for 22 year old

I’m 22 years old, quadriplegic, and use AAC to speak (a computer) and I’m looking for 2-3 caregivers.

I need someone who can help me with all daily living tasks. I also need someone who is also able to help support me in college classes.

You must be able to lift (I weigh around 95 pounds) and help with a lot of physical stuff. You don’t need experience, but you need to be open to learning and good with details. I’ll pay you through the Medicaid systems – so this is an “on the books” position!

I work well with people who have a strong sense of social justice, including disability justice, and who like to explore the world with me. I love to watch sports, go to museums, listen to music, and spend time in the park. I go to college three days a week about 45minutes outside the city (we drive). I live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with my parents and my small friendly dog who barks but is super sweet.

I’m looking for a few different people who could commit to at least a year either part time or full time. Please let me know what your ideal hours/days would be, and also what you could do generally. Rate dependent on experience, between $30-35/hr.
