One bedroom apartment available for sublet in Gramercy/Murray Hill border in a pre-war building on a quiet block. My apartment (one flight up) is quaint and cozy, perfect for one person or two people who don’t mind sharing a bed. I’ve fully furnished it to make it a super comfortable, clean sanctuary.
*Slightly flexible with dates
The bedroom is very roomy- I have a queen sized mattress, drawers (will be emptied for you), a beautiful antique vanity, and a huge mirror. I also have a lovely bookshelf in there with quite the eclectic library for you to peruse. Enough extra floorspace for a yoga mat.
Living room has a long comfy couch and big reading chair, as well as a writing desk. The space is not really made for entertaining, but you could seat a guest or two comfortably for wine or tea.
The kitchen is fully stocked for pretty much any cooking (with gas!!) needs, including Vitamix, KitchenAid mixer, and Berkey water filter.
The building is very quiet; packages are brought inside a secure lobby. It is well-maintained and cleaned daily. There is also laundry in the building.
The neighborhood is amazing! Everything you could possibly need is within a one-block radius. Lots of restaurants featuring different cuisines, Fairway, Target, and Trader Joes are all a short walk away. 5 minutes to the 6 train and 10 minutes to the R/W trains on 23rd St. Super easy to catch a cab. If you’re like me and hate doing laundry there is a wash&fold directly across the street.
I am a native NYC girl who has proudly made my home a space to get away from the grit & grime of everyday city life. I have been using Listings Project since 2016 and have loved the caring community that has gathered here.
I am a freelance researcher and artist, traveling to Central America for a new project during the sublet dates.
I am requesting a 3 week minimum, plus 30% security deposit:
$2400 for 3 weeks
$3000 for one month
$4400 for the full term
Rent includes all utilities, wifi, and cleaning.
I am committed to fair housing in NYC: these rates are lower than what I pay monthly. Just hoping to cover costs while I am abroad for a work contract.
