Fully furnished, spacious one-bedroom garden-level floor-through in a beautiful Brownstone in Prospect Heights. Rent includes all utilities.
Queen-sized bed with a calm vanity in the bedroom. Hardwood floors. Lights on dimmers! No laundry on-site, but there's a great laundromat around the corner that offers inexpensive same-day wash-and-fold (and I can recommend a well-priced delivery service). Apple HomePod + other Bluetooth speakers around the house.
Lovely kitchen in the front room with a gas stove and a large dining/working table (seats 10), plus a dining nook for two. Lots of books + a color printer. The back room has a reading nook + windows into the private backyard area (furnished with a table, chairs, a bench, and cafe lights). We are surrounded by greenery in both the front and back of the apartment. No TV, but a projector and screen on site.
One family lives upstairs and shares the main entrance. We are the only residents in the building; they are my (very cool) landlords. I'll be visiting family overseas for the listed period: the start date is firm; the end date is potentially flexible.
My ideal applicant is responsible, aware of their surroundings, and respectful of neighbors. The community on the block is kind. The apartment is wonderful for hosting friends for dinner or a bottle of wine—and is equally great for reading and getting lots of work done. No smoking or pets.
