Happy New Year and welcome to what a previous subletter once called “The Zen Den.”

This furnished one-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment was fully renovated a few years ago, so everything feels clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The space has a calm, grounding atmosphere with plants, great natural light, and a quiet street outside. The bedroom is extremely quiet and faces away from the street.

I’ve been in and out of New York for about twenty years, and this is genuinely my favorite apartment I’ve lived in. It’s on the top floor of a four-floor walkup, which means higher ceilings and no noise from above. The building and tenants are consistently quiet, friendly, and respectful.

Greenpoint speaks for itself, and the apartment is close to the now-iconic Radio Bakery.

I’ll be traveling February, March, and April (possibly longer) and am looking for someone who fits these dates. I’ve been both a subletter and leaseholder for many years in New York and abroad, with overwhelmingly positive experiences on both sides.

I’ve curated my home with care, so I’m hoping to find someone who is clean, considerate, quiet, and appreciative of a calm space. The apartment is best suited for a single occupant only.
