Hi! We are leasing our railroad-style two-bedroom, 2nd-floor apartment, unfurnished, starting October 1st! The apartment has a recently refreshed kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and cabinets.
The apartment is railroad-style, with three adjoining rooms, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom.
Bedroom: This room faces the street (east) and has three big windows. It can accommodate a queen-sized or full-sized bed with end tables. Opposite the bed, there is space for a large dresser, a spin bike/treadmill, or a desk.
Flex Room: This room is between the bedroom and the living room. Previous tenants have used it as a large walk-through closet, a jewelry-making studio, a bedroom, and a nursery. Bring your imagination and use it any way you’d like!
Living Room: This room is between the flex room and the kitchen. You walk into this room when you enter the apartment. There is a small utility closet, a dining nook, and a sealed marble fireplace. The most recent tenant used this room as a dining area and the flex room as their living room.
Kitchen: The kitchen faces the back of the house (west) and overlooks a backyard with two big windows. It has a full-sized 30" stove/oven (with a built-in air fryer) and appropriate counter space.
Bathroom: The bathroom faces the back of the house (west) and overlooks a backyard through one big window. It features a full bathtub with a shower and a large built-in corner shelf.
This apartment comfortably accommodates a single person who wants lots of space to work from home or start a passion project with a dedicated space. It could also accommodate a couple with a baby or two people who need space for two desks. A nice crosswind keeps the apartment cool in the warm months, and steam-powered radiators provide heat in the cold months.

I am originally from Brooklyn and am excited to invite people to explore my neighborhood. My wife and I own the building but live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am pursuing a PhD at the University of Michigan, and she runs a small gift shop and beauty supply store. When we lived here, we loved the local restaurants, yoga, the easy walk to Ft. Greene Park, the convenience of Manhattan, and overall good vibes :)
I will show you the space and look forward to meeting you in person.
