The main feature of the property is the large stream that meanders through it and presents amazing views from inside the house and the deck.

The living room features soaring ceilings, a big, open fireplace clad in handmade Moroccan tile, and two large sofa's to lounge on with family and friends. The custom kitchen is made of bamboo and Italian marble and has top of the line appliances with features like a steam oven, ice maker and induction cooking. The dining table offers ample space for long dinner parties.

The primary bedroom with king bed is in the loft, overlooking the fireplace below. It has a tv and walk in closet and ensuite bath with large soaking tub, rain shower and custom vanity.

The other two bedrooms are on the first floor looking out on the forest, one of which has a king bed and a desk, the other has two twins. The bathroom on this floor has marble and raw brass finishes.

There is a finished walk out basement that houses a dedicated work space and a cozy rec-room with pool table / ping pong table and large smart television. It also has a third bathroom with rain shower. There is air conditioning throughout the house.

The spacious deck has retractable shading and a very large dining table that overlooks the stream and beautifully landscaped garden. The stream offers fishing, swimming and kayaking, while the grounds feature meandering paths, a fire pit with large sofa, and a cabana for lounging.

The property is set on a private road and surrounded by lush forest, making it feel uniquely serene and secluded.

Me and my family are from the Netherlands. We lived Upstate for the last 4 years, renovating this property while our kids went to the amazing Homestead Montessori school nearby. I work as a contemplative and somatic guide and my husband works in the music industry.
