A three-bedroom home in the center of Rensselaerville, a small, historic town in the northern Catskills. The house is fully furnished, well cared for, and set in the quiet, lived-in village surrounded by trees and a peaceful village.
Just down the street is the Huyck Preserve, with miles of trails, streams, ponds, and a well-known waterfall and lake. Also within walking distance: the Rensselaerville Library, which regularly hosts events, and across the street, Conkling Hall and Hilltown Commons, offering music, performances, talks, and a casual place to eat or gather.
For food, Be Golden Farm Pizza and Kuhar’s are nearby, with more options in surrounding towns. The area is well-suited to exploring by car — a mix of backroads, small towns, and local spots (swimming holes, hiking trails, etc.) worth discovering.
The house offers both privacy and a sense of connection to the village, depending on what you’re looking for.
A car is recommended and can be arranged for an additional cost.
Approximately 3 hours from NYC. About 35 minutes to the Hudson Amtrak Station and 45 minutes to the Albany Bus Terminal.
