My partner and I are moving, downsizing and giving up a 2 bedroom rent stabilized apartment in South Harlem. It is a gem. 700 sq+ 2 bedroom. 2 blocks from Central Park and the new Davis Meer Swimming Pool on 110th St. Only 12 min train ride to midtown. It would be for a brand new lease starting preferably Aug 1 or at the latest Sep 1. There is an income requirement.

Income Restrictions due to affordable housing regulations: Min/Max
Min-Max 2 people: $104,850- $293,580
Max Income for 3 people: $335,520

Pros: Good lighting, 5 Huge closets with plenty of storage, elevator building

Cons: No dishwasher, Washer/Dryer

The primary bedroom fits a King bed with furniture, and the secondary bedroom is currently used as an office and guest bedroom with a full sized Murphy bed. It fits a full/queen with furniture. The neighbors are friendly, and management is very responsive.

Utilities that are included in rent are Heat and Hot Water. We can discuss buying some furniture like the Murphy bed in the second bedroom or the in-wall AC units which are different from window AC units and more costly.

About This Lister

I am a performing artist. I love singing, dancing and acting. My partner works in responsible tech.

We are moving because I won a housing lottery unit in a building with more amenities.

I will miss the space though because it’s huge by NYC standards and everyone in the building is so sweet.
