Hello! I’m looking for a roommate to join me in a bright, spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. The room will be available starting June 1st, 2 months sublet or sign a 6-month lease (possible for extension) beginning the same day.
I've lived here for 6 months and absolutely love it — it’s a peaceful, sun-filled space with great energy. Sadly, my current roommate is moving back home, so I’m looking for someone to share this cozy home with.
About the Apartment:
- The available room is large and sunny, fits a queen-sized bed,
has high ceilings, arched windows, a spacious closet, and beautiful green field view from the windows.
- Apartment on 4th floor
- Newly renovated walkup building
- The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook comfortably.
- The bathroom has a tub and strong cold/hot water pressure.
- The apartment is unfurnished, but there's plenty of space to bring in your own couch or table to make it your own.
- Queen bed in the room (if you want to keep it)
- Spacious closet
- Central heating
- Fast, reliable WiFi
- In-building washer/dryer
- Large shared living area
- 8 min walk to J (Gates Ave), 15 min to A/C (Utica/Fulton)
- Great nearby bars and coffee spots (Passionfruit, Early Yves, Chez Alex)
- No pets
Rent:
- $1550/monthly rent
- $25/monthly WiFi
- $35–$100/monthly utilities (average)
This is an ideal space for someone who’s mellow, clean, and values a calm home. I appreciate open communication and would love to live with someone who’s chill, respectful, and considerate.
I’m a 31-y/o queer woman pursuing my Master’s in Conceptual Practices at Columbia University. I work remotely as an artistic researcher. I’m quiet, respectful, and like to keep our shared space tidy. I’ve always had great relationships with past roommates and am open-minded when it comes to finding a harmonious living dynamic based on mutual respect and communication.
If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to connect!
