Looking to fill a spare room in a 2BR/1Bath in Toluca Lake (convenient to two freeways! walkable to a Trader Joes and Universal Studios). The room could be lightly furnished (bed, desk or empty, based on what you need. The place is well decorated and there's a big shared living room, dining room, kitchen and backyard. It's part of a beautiful courtyard and all our neighbors are friendly/familiar. The courtyard has a shared washer/dryer. WiFi is included in utilities.

I'm Carly (she/her). I work full-time in comedy (but I'm not a comedian) and stay pretty busy with that (work week is M-F 10-6). I’m hard working, friendly, funny and I like to occasionally host game nights. I have a sphynx cat named Greg and he is endlessly entertaining. (He can usually get along with other animals but high energy dogs do stress him out.) I play rec softball as much as I can.

My evenings are usually occupied since I see a lot of live shows, but I'm also AMC A-List so I see a tonnn of movies. I'm usually not home much during the work week (the only time I'll ever spend all day at home is over the weekend).

I'm certainly not uptight but I do like to keep the space clean. I'm great at communication. If I ever plan to host a group of friends, I'll give plenty of heads up. (My whiteboard calendar is always on the wall, so I'm good about sharing my plans.)

Honestly I rarely cook, so good news if you do! The kitchen is great. I like to light candles occasionally, so this wouldn't be right if you are sensitive to scents.
