Hello! I'm looking for a sublessee for the fall (September & October, but dates are somewhat flexible) for my large room in a spacious Prospect Heights apartment. We're two blocks from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and the library; right next to Gold Star Beer Counter and Radio Bakery.
The room is the largest in a 2-bedroom apartment and will come with a desk, chair, small bookshelf, queen-sized bed, and a decent-sized closet. Space will be made to use the closet and bookshelf, and the bike will be gone as well. There's also a connecting door to another room that can be used, and the door to the backyard.
The living room and kitchen are large (by New York standards) with a dishwasher, comfortable couches, and plenty of natural light. There's also a hallway walk-in closet (4 x 8 ft) where we keep a few shared items, like toilet paper and cleaning items.
The building is super quiet (only 2 other apartments), and we love living near all the restaurants on Vanderbilt and Washington Ave. There's also a laundromat on the block, only three doors down. The 7th Ave B,Q stop and the Grand Army Plaza 2,3 stop are a ~10-minute walk away. Wi-Fi and utilities are ~70 a month.
Overall, a great place and neighborhood to live and work, especially for interns, traveling nurses, or those looking to try out NYC!
I'm subletting my room for the fall (September & October), although dates are flexible.
You'll share the apartment with one other woman in her 30s who works from home as a media producer, enjoys cooking, and occasionally hosts dinner parties with friends. She's very friendly, respectful, and clean, and is looking for someone like-minded. Overall, a nice, chill environment to live in!
First month's rent and a security deposit of $1100 are due before move-in.
