Looking for someone to take over my room in this delightful 3 bed / 1 bath in Fort Greene. Lease takeover with a June 1st move in!

The rent is $1250 per month + utilities. This is a takeover for a two-year lease: June 1, 2026 to February 29, 2028.

The apartment is less than half a block (read: 4 doors down) from an entrance to Fort Greene Park. You’re in walking distance to the iconic neighborhood restaurants like Walter’s, Evelina, and Cafe Paulette. As we head into peak farmer’s market season, you have the vendors right at the end of the block every Saturday. We’re on the third floor, facing south, so we get gorgeous light in the bedroom and living room all day, and have private access to the roof.

The room itself is small (but super sunny!) and comes unfurnished. It can fit a queen size bed and a dresser or desk in addition to the built-in closet. The living room and kitchen are both fully furnished, since the other two roommates are staying on.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys hanging out together at the end of the day, who is open to a dinner party or two, who would like to meet up for picnics in the park, and who strikes a balance of doing their own thing and hanging out with the roommates. If you’re into crosswords, whiskey sours, and/or vintage shopping adventures, this could be a good fit for you!
