Hello! I'm looking for a roommate to join my spacious 2br/1ba apartment in Williamsburg for re-signing the lease! (Short-term tenants will not be considered). Move-in date is a bit flexible.
The apartment is smack in the middle of the Metropolitan / Lorimer L/G and the Marcy JMZ stations, a block in from the BQE. 6-8 min walk to either station depending how quick you're moving.
The available bedroom is street-facing, so there is noise at times, but I don't consider it disruptive or more than usual - it's a quiet neighborhood otherwise. It's unfurnished, and on the smaller size, but can fit a full or queen with bedside table, smaller desk, and a dresser - and the kitchen and living room are both huge!
The landlady (she's the best) lives on the first floor, so this a quiet building - hosting friends, overnight guests, etc. are great and cool - but big, loud, late gatherings won't fly.
The area is super convenient, short walks to grocery stores, bars, restaurants, and cafes on Grand, Metropolitan, and a bit longer walk or quick L ride to Graham Ave. Several laundry options in the area but the one I use is about 2 blocks north and is affordable.
Sorry, no couples, no pets.

Outgoing roommate is a longtime friend moving in with her SO. No real preference regarding men, women, LGBTQIA+. All are welcome! 420 friendly but can't in the apartment.
Not a clean freak but being respectful and considerate of the common spaces, and the other tenants in the building is super important.
Rent is $1750 per month in cash, utilities are standard - spiked a bit for AC when its hot out, but typically not more than $100 per person, and internet would be $40 per person.
Standard documentation will be requested - proof of income, 2x roommate references, credit check, and 1 month security deposit.
