- room located on the opposite side of the apartment from the other two bedrooms
About the apartment:

- spacious kitchen with gas stove, custom cabinets, spacious countertops, and stainless-steel appliances (no dishwasher)
- bathroom with modern fixtures, ceramic tile, and a bathtub
- access to a large common backyard
- great neighborhood with many cafes and boutique shops, grocery stores, gyms nearby
- 12 minute walk to prospect park

I will be offering the option to purchase any of furniture pictured in the photos. This includes my low profile bed frame, Helix full sized mattress, rug, desk/desk chair, bookshelf, mirror, one floor lamp, two desk lamps, window-unit AC, and Muji stackable drawers that fit inside the closet. This is optional and can also be broken down into individual elements, if desired. I would prefer to identify interest in it as early as possible so I can sell it elsewhere if there is no interest from the incoming roommate.
Current roommates are both working professional female-identifying in their early 30’s and it has been a pleasure living with both of them in this apartment. It is one of my favorite places that I’ve lived and I am sad to be leaving.
Your two roommates will be Kalyani and Haley.
About Kalyani:
Hi! I’m Kalyani, and I’m a special projects manager at a literacy non profit. I’m from Delhi, India and I’ve lived in New York for a couple of years. I have a pretty loose hybrid schedule, so some weeks I’m fully remote, some weeks are hybrid, and some weeks are fully in person. I have a long distance boyfriend and have slowly built a small community of friends in the city. I find it’s nice to be friendly/ friends with roommates. I like the home to be a clean and comforting space for everyone and I like to have easy and open communication. In my free time, I like visiting museums, going to Prospect Park, thrifting, and listening to audiobooks
About Haley:
Hi I’m Haley, I’m an HR professional working for a marketing company. I’m originally from Seattle and moved here a year and a half ago. I love to read, work on art projects, cook, travel and explore NYC. My living style is very mindful and courteous of others. I work in the office two days a week and work remote three.
Current tenant
Rent for the room is $1375 a month, excluding utilities.
Rent would be prorated for the first month since it is a mid-month start, and paid directly to me (I will be paying full rent to the landlord on June 1).
Security deposit is $1467, also paid directly to me.
Rent is then paid directly to the landlord through Zelle on the first day of every month.
Good credit score required. Annual income of minimum 70k required. Landlord will likely require a Facetime interview after we select an applicant.
Gas and hot water are covered by landlord, we pay for WIFI and electricity.
Total utilities range from $60-$100 per person depending on the month (higher in the summer).
Please note: no pets and strictly no subletting, as the unit is a co-op.
