*Please note: We’re looking for a long-term housemate only — not a short-term sublet.
Hi there! We have a cozy room available in our beautiful, 137-year-old Victorian home in Eagle Rock, complete with a huge, tranquil garden. The house is tucked away on a quiet street just off Colorado Boulevard, walking distance to shops, restaurants, Cornerstone Wellness, and the Vidiots movie theater.
You’ll get your own off-street parking spot and access to an in-unit washer/dryer. Utilities (internet, gas, and electric) usually run about $80/month, depending on usage. The house features original hardwood floors and charming architectural details, including stained glass windows, and a house piano.
Due to a long gravel driveway and three flights of stairs, the house isn’t a good fit for wheelchair users.
About the room:
The room is 168 sq ft, located on the second floor and features two (two!) large closets plus a teeny one for some unknown Victorian reason. There's one window, set in a nook with a little desk that comes with the room that fits it perfectly. It has hardwood floors just like the rest of the house The bathroom is shared with two other housemates and includes a bathtub.
No additional pets are allowed due to lease restrictions (one housemate has an elder kitty). Major appliances (stove, fridge, washer/dryer) are all under 5 years old.
We’re a household of friends in our 30s and up, working in music, education, film/TV, nonprofits, and horticulture. We keep a clean space, value mutual respect, and pitch in with light housework. We're hoping to find a kind, considerate housemate who’s looking for a calm, friendly home.
If that sounds like a good fit, please reach out — we’d love to hear from you!
