Your room:

-Quiet, backyard-facing bedroom located on the top floor of our brownstone apartment. Has 2 windows, an exposed brick wall, a large closet, and a minisplit AC unit. Room for a queen sized bed, chair, desk and dresser

-Shares one wall with another roommate. Shares the floor with 3 other roommates

Apartment:

-Located in Bed-Stuy off the A/C and G trains

-5 bedrooms total in the top 2 floors of a brownstone

-2 bathrooms

-Separate kitchen, dining room and living room areas

-Well stocked kitchen!

-Minisplit AC in the living room

Roommates:

-4 kind, respectful, calm, communicative roommates looking for same! We’re all in our late 20s to early 30s, working in creative fields/teaching/in grad school. We live fairly independently but ultimately want the space to feel like a home — good energy, catching up in the common areas, treating each other with care and keeping the common spaces inviting and clean. We occasionally have roommate meetings to check in on chores and shared responsibilities.

-Sadly no pets, sorry!

Cleaning:

-We like to keep the space clean and organized! (Washing dishes after you're finished with them, wiping down counters, cleaning up crumbs, emptying sink traps, etc.)

-Each roommate has a main chore that they take care of (trash, recycling, vacuuming, etc.), and we all pitch in to keep things neat as we go
