Room available for rent in two bedroom apartment in Two Bridges, Manhattan. Second floor walk up, very doable. Main room is spacious and includes kitchen area, and two windows on one side, while the other side comes furnished with a dining table + chairs, a couch with a coffee table, and a large TV with several game systems.

The main room corresponds to the first four pictures given. Bathroom has toilet, sink, medicine cabinet, sink cabinet, and large walk-in shower attached to another window. Bathroom is shared and corresponds to the 5th, 6th and 7th pictures.

Room for rent is represented by the final two pictures. Bedroom with a sizable closet and further storage space above the closet. The room can easily fit a bed, desk and dresser, as shown, and the bed/desk/dresser in the photos can come with the room for a small additional purchasing fee (or you can bring your own stuff).

Location is good, close to both Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges (/brooklyn in general), very close to Chinatown and numerous other LES neighborhoods. Deli across the street is very convenient for food and household items. Walking distance from B,D and F trains. No dishwasher or in-unit laundry, but laundromat is about a block away.

I will have a lizard that I keep in my room, but it is herbivorous so there will be no bugs or anything, and you don't really have to engage with it unless you want to. Square footage is an estimation from zillow. Feel free to ask me any questions about myself as a roommate. I can also send a quick one minute video tour that I have recorded.

Hello! My name is Fox, pronouns are he/him. I am a teacher who leaves the house around 8 AM every morning and gets off work around 4 PM Mon-Thurs, 1 PM on Friday. My parents have a place uptown closer to my job so I will likely occasionally stay the night there to reduce my commute. I am a fairly social person who enjoys hosting when possible (I frequently host game nights). I have a ton of video games and consoles that I am happy to share and leave out by the TV in the main room. I occasionally play the ukulele but not often, and not loudly.

I am single. I would describe myself as reasonably neat, and I keep the place fairly clean, but occasionally some clutter will build up if I am busy with other stuff that causes me to deprioritize chores; I am very open to cleaning up after myself when asked, if necessary. I love math, lots of traditionally nerdy stuff (game of thrones, avatar the last airbender, video games, etc) and karaoke, amongst other things. I am pretty non judgmental about substance use.

As mentioned, I have a lizard in my room, but it will be silent and consumes no live food, so this is really just for you to enjoy if you like lizards, otherwise it is totally avoidable.

I have a pretty patchy sense of aesthetic but I don't really care if you want to decorate the main room to your liking. I am not interested in spending much money on new furniture or anything to that effect, but again, I am open to that conversation.
