My partner is moving to Berlin for the first six months of 2026 to pursue a painting residency. As such, I'm looking for a roommate! This person would move into one of two bedrooms in our cute and quiet 1920's bungalow.

The bungalow is a backhouse nestled between backyards, which is what makes it so peaceful! It's one block from the LA River and its beautiful bike path, with plenty of coffee shop options within walking distance as well as a few incredible restaurants, live music, and comedy venues. We're also a quick drive to most parts of LA considering the 5, the 110, the 101, and the 2 are all within minutes of the house. The closest grocery store / pharmacy (whole foods and cvs) are a 5 minute drive or 21 minute walk away. We have a sweet little backyard with a grill, picnic table, and chairs, and a private driveway with room for two cars to park.

Please note that this roommate will also have to be ok living with an adorable-and-sometimes-excessively-grumpy middle-aged cat (her name is Faroe!) -- so bonus points if you're a cat fan.

Ideally I'd love for someone to stay for ~6 months and to take the primary bedroom, but have some flexibility, so please reach out even if the price or timeline are a tiny bit off! The room can come furnished or unfurnished.

Accessibility info: this is a one story house, but it has small steps up to the front door (1 step and 1 door lip) and back door (1 door lip).

I am a working musician with a 9-5 desk job that has a hybrid schedule (2 days WFH, 3 days in office) so I'll be working out of my office/studio in the garage on and off throughout the week. I love being out and about - going to shows, playing shows, exploring flea markets, biking around town - but also really value having a welcoming home to come back to.
