Off both the A/C and 3/4 trains

Looking to fill a room in our beloved apartment in Crown Heights that is off both the 3/4 and A/C trains, making your commute very easy! I've lived in this unit for 7 years and my roommate is moving to California so we're looking to fill the spare room.

The apartment is a 3 bed/2 bath with laundry in unit! It's the top unit in a third floor walk-up so very little neighbor noise. The room has a big window and a very tall closet. The apartment itself gets so much light — we call it The Treehouse because in the summertime all you can see from our windows are the trees in the neighborhood. The apartment has hardwood floors, tons of plants, and the common spaces are completely furnished.

The apartment is across the street from a park with a turf field, track, and basketball courts. There's also a recreational center that has a swimming pool (!) literally across the street. There are a couple of very cute coffee shops a close walk away, but the neighborhood is very residential so it's pretty quiet. There are 3 grocery stores very close by and the apartment is above a bodega that have a lot of pantry staples, and the family who run it are very nice.

About This Lister

Current tenants:
Ash (me), 30-year-old queer writer who works from home half the time and on set the other half. I have an incredibly sweet and very quiet (I promise, she almost never barks!) dog named Roux who is extremely cuddly so would prefer someone who loves dogs!

Emily, 31-year-old woman who works out of the house 5 days a week in development for a non-profit.

We are looking for someone kind, social, and loves dogs. You absolutely do not need to be a neat freak, but we try to keep the place as tidy as we can with our hectic schedules.

Would prefer 25+ and either woman-identifying or LGBTQ+.

Rental requirements

We can't sublet, so you'll be added to the lease which requires the usual credit check, income check, and security deposit which will be one month's rent. The process will run through the management company, not myself, but I can answer any questions you have if there's mutual interest!
