This listing is for one furnished room in a furnished apartment with three bedrooms, an art studio, and one bathroom, available starting Aug 20-Sept 1 through Spring 2026 (dates flexible). Rent is $1250 and utilities, household supplies and maintenance, and bi-weekly cleaning are $300 ($1550 total).

We are looking for a subletter that has a busy active life outside of the home like us, and when at home wants a clean quiet place to relax, sleep, and work on creative pursuits. We clean up the common areas after ourselves and also have a house cleaner come every other week.

One roommate is a busy manager always working at her bar, another is an architect who spends his time at the office and upstate. Another person has a small art studio there and drops by occasionally on nights and weekends.

The apartment is converted warehouse and has a classic loft layout with an open concept living room-kitchen and tall ceilings.

The bathroom has a waterfall shower and a deep soaking tub. An in-unit washer and dryer are convenient as you don't have to carry laundry up and down the 4 flights of stairs. It's a walk-up!

The furnished bedroom has a full size Murphy bed that can fold up during the day to make more open space. It is on the interior of the building and lets in light from the living room through a window, but there are no windows to the outside. The living room is also on the interior of the building and light filters in through the windows and doors of the other two bedrooms.

About This Lister

Currently two people live here full-time and another person has a studio space in the apartment. The full-time roommates are a bartender and an architect who and not home much. We rent out this guest room sometimes, and other times keep it for friends and family who visit often.
