You would be living with another housemate and me. The place is very spacious with plenty of opportunity to have alone time or to be together as we want. We let relationships with housemates grow organically - eg. If it feels right to share a meal or eat at the same time, great. If not, that is OK too.
We are seeking a housemate for each room who is warm, communicative, solid, respectful, financially stable, and easy-going. You genuinely like living with other people. No smoking or drugs. No pets (sorry!).
I'm from northern California and went to UC Berkeley. Divorced, empty-nester with 2 sons in college, a varied career, currently working on a couple tech startups. I tango dance, play pickleball, and love the cultural opportunities in New York City, especially the outdoor concerts, theatre, and movies during the summer months.
I currently work from home but that could change. Typically in my room but also downstairs in the common space or outside on the deck. Happy to have housemates do the same!
The front bedroom is available December 1 on a monthly basis. The back bedroom is available January 1 on a monthly basis. I listed until May 1 but there may be a possibility of extending longer.
First month and 1 month security deposit, references, signed housemate agreement.
Because it's a housemate situation, it is important to make sure we are compatible. Please email me about yourself, what's important to you in a home experience, living with others. We can exchange LinkedIn or other profiles and talk together to see if it's the right fit.
