Hi!

I'm Joey. For the past year I've lived in this incredible rent stabilized apartment, right by Prospect Park. It's close to Grand Army Plaza, 2/3 & Q trains, as well as the very trendy Radio Bakery. The apartment also features a generously sized kitchen, roof access, plus a live in super next door!

The room itself is north facing and gets a lot of light, plus has a fire escape outside with a large built in closet. Utilities (gas, electric, wifi) are included in the rent price. No Laundry but there's a laundromat right down the block on Underhill ave.

In terms of the area, I grew up in Brooklyn and Prospect Heights is one of my favorite neighborhoods. You can go to the farmer's market on Saturdays, enjoy the Brooklyn Library and Brooklyn Museum, or venture to any of the great restaurants, bars, and cafes on Vanderbilt and Washington ave. Not to mention Prospect Park is essentially your backyard!

I feel like I won the jackpot with this apartment, and am looking for a responsible roommate who will treat shared spaces with respect and care. I also work as a video editor from home, so prefer a roommate who doesn't WFH, or goes into the office most days. I cook a lot and prefer a tidy/clean kitchen and living room.

Unfortunately no pets allowed or smoking. No couples either, and prefer someone in their mid to late 20s. This apartment is also queer friendly!

I WFH, and will wake up around 7:00am and am in bed by around 11:30pm. I'll also have my girlfriend over some days, or will be splitting the week at her apartment.

I'm a pretty casual, laid back person, but cleanliness around shared spaces (bathroom, living room, kitchen) is important to me.
