I'm looking for someone to sublet a room in my two-bedroom, two-bath apartment in Far Rockaway. The sublet would begin August 1, 2025 and go through July 31, 2026.

The apartment is part of a two-family home; we’re on the first floor, and our unit is completely separate from the second and third floor tenants. Utilities are included in the rent, including internet. There’s no dishwasher, but we do have a washer and dryer in the basement, and you’ll also have access to the backyard.

The apartment is located on the bayside, just a few blocks from the 67th Street A Train station, which provides easy access to Manhattan. One of the best parts of living here is being so close to the beach.

You would have your own private bedroom, approximately 13 feet by 9 feet, with a private bathroom and a private exit to the backyard. The room comes unfurnished, though I’m happy to leave the bed if that’s helpful. Everything else pictured in the bedroom will be removed before your move-in. You would share the living room and kitchen with me.

I’m a 38-year-old male working in international education. I commute to Manhattan two days a week and work from home the rest of the time. I’m easygoing, clean, and respectful, and I’m hoping to find someone with a similar mindset.
