I’ve spent some time looking around LA and… yeah, 1-bedrooms are pretty prettyyyy overpriced right now. So I’m stepping into a friend’s place 2BR in Montecito Heights — and looking for the right person to share it with on a new lease.

First off.. the neighborhood is a hidden gem... its a few minutes from Highland Park.. very neighborhoody . and it's just filled with green.. parks or hills. It's not overflowing with great restaurants, but they are all just a very short drive east to HP and the other neighborhoods.

The apartment is tucked up on a steep hillside... feels perched above the street, great light + privacy. It’s an older building that’s been fully refreshed.. the fixtures / finishes aren't my taste but there's such good energy it's makes up for that.

Inside is fairly spacious. Outside is the highlight.. huge paved and landscaped backyard with a firepit and an elevated pagoda.. for anyone that needs light and fresh air.. likes to host meals outside.. this is the spot.

I’ll be finishing furnishing the place over the next month, but if you have pieces you love, we can for sure blend.

Street parking is easy and consistently available. The room actually can be furnished or unfurnished.. already have a set for it.

At home I’m grounded. I read a lot, cook often, keep things clean. I'm TV light (no shows at all, just movies, films, documentaries). I’m very active and usually out early most mornings, even on the weekends. I occasionally work from home but am more often in the office. Weekends I’m typically out exploring or spending time with friends or traveling.

I'm social in a friendly way — I enjoy good conversation, shared meals, that kind of thing. I'm in to the culinary scene and love dinners out.. wine bars after.. but otherwise 'm not much for nightlife.. I'm rarely out to midnight.. and I don't drink often.
