We are seeking a part-time Sales Associate & Fitting Consultant with extensive boutique fashion retail experience to join our team.
This role centers on styling, fitting expertise, and creating a thoughtful customer experience, guiding clients through the collection and helping them find pieces that make them feel confident and put together.
This position also offers the opportunity to grow alongside a developing brand, with room for increased responsibility and advancement for the right candidate who demonstrates dedication, professionalism, and initiative.
Responsibilities:
Provide an exceptional in-store customer experience through styling, fitting guidance, and wardrobe pairing
Confidently guide customers through the collection and close sales with professionalism
Maintain a polished and welcoming boutique environment
Assist with visual merchandising and window displays
Support store organization, product presentation, and inventory upkeep
Contribute to a positive and professional team environment
Requirements:
Extensive boutique fashion retail experience is required
Strong understanding of fit, silhouette, and styling
Ability to read customers and adapt a sales approach to their needs
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot naturally in conversation
Confident, personable, and professional demeanor
A positive attitude and pride in delivering excellent work
Ability to remain motivated and productive during both busy and quieter retail periods
Self-starter who takes initiative and takes pride in maintaining a beautiful store environment
Availability during the week and at least one weekend day required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Strong professional references required
Background check required
Preferred Experience:
Broader fashion industry experience
Background in fashion design, styling, garment construction, or pattern making
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to pivot a sales pitch quickly by reading a customer’s needs and guiding them toward a confident purchase
Compensation
$17 – $22 per hour depending on experience
