I’m subletting my bright, cozy 1BR in Santa Monica — just 5 blocks from the beach and a gorgeous 15-minute stroll along the bluffs to the Santa Monica Pier.

It’s fully furnished, fully stocked, and tucked away in the back of a small, peaceful complex — but step outside and you’re instantly surrounded by all the good stuff: cute cafés, local shops, yoga studios, Whole Foods, Pavillions, a great butcher, dry cleaners, and more.

The apartment itself has warm hardwood floors, tons of natural light (it’s a corner unit with windows on three sides), and a kitchen ready for your culinary experiments — complete with an air fryer, rice maker, and Instapot. In summer, the Dyson tower fan keeps things breezy; in winter, the in-unit heater makes it extra cozy.

Parking’s a breeze with plenty of non-permitted spots (street cleaning on Tuesdays and Wednesdays), and there’s a washer/dryer with keypad access just downstairs.

The bedroom has beautiful white linen blackout curtains for those indulgent sleep-ins. It’s perfect for one person or a couple who enjoys a quiet, calm space.

The best part? You’ll be sharing the home with my chill roommate, Smokey — a ridiculously handsome, low-maintenance ragdoll cat who adores good vibes and occasional head scratches. He’s self-sufficient (automated litter box, wet food once a day, no medical issues) and I’ll cover all his care costs. The only thing Smokey insists on? No other pets — he enjoys being the king of his castle.

I’m offering a $600 discount on rent for petcare. I will also arrange and cover costs for pet coverage should the subletter want to plan any trips during the term of the lease. Additionally I am covering all utilities (electric, gas, water).

I’ve lived here for 8 years, and every corner has been designed with care so it feels both beautiful and energetically balanced. If you’re looking for a sunny, beachside home with great energy (and the best feline co-host ever), this is your spot.
