STONEGATE FARM is an historic 1850s estate farm, one hour north of New York City, where we grow and create beauty and wellness products from our flowers, herbs and fruit for CULTIVATE APOTHECARY as well as open the farm up to community each season for tours, wellness events, suppers at DIRT KITCHEN, and workshops. Originally part of a large estate, the farm outbuildings and Italianate Villa have each been meticulously restored, while the surrounding land is in cultivation as a local, organic farm, herbal and wellness center, and teaching venue.
The farm is small, sustainable, bio-intensive and integrated into a non-farm district; a model of local, small-scale community farming that is central to the owner’s philosophy. The farm serves a diverse local community, as well as a national audience through its profiles in articles, books and magazines as a model of small-scale, sustainable organic agriculture integrated into community. The farm is in production from April through October each season.
Farm is 10 mins from Beacon NY and Metro North Trains.
