I'm looking to share a beautiful fully enclosed, floor to ceiling studio with big windows & bright natural light.
- Location: 44th street between 3rd and 2nd Ave in Sunset Park, Brooklyn
- 1st floor unit, accessible by a half flight of stairs (unfortunately does not have a wheelchair lift)
- In unit AC, heat & wifi
- 3 story building with bathrooms, slop sink and freight elevator
- Other building tenants include artists, photographers, musicians and small businesses
- Currently fully furnished, set up to accommodate both desk work and creative projects — but can be rearranged/removed to accommodate other furniture, storage needs etc.
👋 I’m the current studio occupant (she/her). I’m an artist & activist, and I work for a small tech non-profit.
Most routinely, I work out of the space 2-3 days/week as an office for my remote-work daytime-hours job (aka: I’m on a lot of zoom meetings). I also use the studio for miscellaneous creative projects … painting, illustration, collage, costume crafting, sign making, multi-media installation constructing and everything in between.
I travel quite a bit and there are regular times when I'm not using the studio — lots of weekends, for a week or so at a time and at least once a year for a full month.

~What I'm looking for in a studio share~
There are loads of folks sharing this studio could work well for: an artist who doesn't need to be in the studio 24/7, a desk worker (writer, designer, technologist, film editor, etc.) looking for dedicated workspace some days a week, a musician looking for rehearsal space, someone who needs access to a space for creative bursts, etc. etc.
I feel that creative spaces don't need to be pristine and regularly become a mess. This studio often is. I’d like to share the space w someone who is ok with evidence of creativity and can also tidy up from time to time.
One month security deposit.
Two referrals required.
Available to show the space M, T, W weeknights and anytime Thu-Sun.
