I’m looking for one or two roommates in New York City (preferably Manhattan) to share an apartment with on or before November 1st, as my current roommates and I have decided not to renew our lease which ends on October 31st. I’m currently in the process of looking for an apartment and hope to spend between $1,800 to $2,000 a month in rent.
I’m currently a Financial Analyst at NBCUniversal working three to four days a week in person in Rockefeller Center. I’ve been living on the Lower East Side in Two Bridges and working at NBCU for almost a year now, and before that lived in the Bronx as a student at Fordham University’s Rose Hill Campus. I have a lot of experience with the city at this point and continue to enjoy exploring and seeking out new places.
I'm very sociable so I would like to get along with my roommates and hang out with them on a regular basis. Overall I'm very clean & organized, and like to keep communal spaces clean and livable. I'm also generally quiet but don't mind a reasonable amount of noise. I don’t smoke or use drugs, and would prefer to be in a smoke-free environment. My hobbies and interests include watching movies (I enjoy most genres), listening to music and playing guitar (I’m a big classic rock fan and I’m learning to play electric guitar on a Fender Telecaster - I play with headphones instead of an amp so I don’t bother anyone), filmmaking & photography, exploring New York City, visiting museums, attending Yankees games, cooking, and trying out new bars and restaurants.
If you think we might be a good fit, please feel free to reach out!
