KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Administration
-Attend weekly virtual meetings with Hivewild’s Artistic Director and administrative team
-Track and report all hours worked via hour log provided by the Company
-Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Artistic Director
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Production
-Support the Artistic Director with managing general operations, studio bookings/space rentals, supply maintenance, and company storage
-Implement programming logistics, event production, and project management for all Company events
-Act as primary liaison between Company and all rental/production venues
-Act as primary liaison between Company and all technical contractors
-Track project and production progress across project management software and within the digital asset management system
QUALIFICATIONS
-Must embrace the mission and values of Hivewild, and be willing to familiarize themself with the organization in order to succinctly communicate Hivewild’s mission
-Must be based in NYC or able to easily travel to NYC
High School Diploma or equivalent certification (BA in related field a plus)
-2-4 years experience with stage management, theater production, arts administration, project management and/or film production
-Broad knowledge of the professional performing arts landscape and industry
-Knowledge of the NYC contemporary dance industry, including but not limited to: local studios and theaters, emerging and mid-career companies and choreographers, and the choreographic process
-Broad knowledge of theater and production tech, including but not limited to: lights, sound, and set
-Ability to work asynchronously while maintaining strict time boundaries
-Proficiency in Google Suite and ASANA or similar software
-Clear communicator with excellent speaking, writing, logistical, and organizational skills
TITLE, REPORTING, TERMS, & COMPENSATION
Applicant’s title will be Producer. Applicant will report to Katherine Maxwell (the “Artistic Director”), or as otherwise directed by the Artistic Director.
This is a part time, fully remote, hourly position. Hourly rate is $25/hour, with an anticipated 12-15 hour/month commitment. This is an independent contractor position, and does not include benefits.
Initial contract runs from July 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. The contract may be renewed at the end of term and at the discretion of the Artistic Director. The Company is seeking to make this a long-term position.

Hivewild is seeking a creative and highly organized individual to join the team as the company’s long term Producer. The Producer assists the Artistic Director and Dancer Liaison with administration and operations, with an emphasis on managing public programming and production.
Hivewild's administrative team works remotely and asynchronously, with weekly meetings to communicate status updates and establish next steps. The Producer is required to be on-site for all public-facing events, and must be fully available September 15-20 for Hivewild's fall season.
