Hi there! I'm looking for a room in a shared apartment in NYC starting August or September — ideally under $1,600/month (flexible up to $1,800 for the right spot). I like to travel in the summer so hopefully will find something that wraps up sometimes in June-July. Hoping to land somewhere within 30 minutes of Chelsea, with great natural light and friendly, social roommates who also enjoy their own independence.

I’m a 27-year-old high school math teacher who stays pretty active outside the classroom — you’ll usually find me rock climbing, cycling around the city, or playing ultimate frisbee. I’m also into board games, books, movies, and occasionally playing video games.

I tend to be out and about most of the time — either at work, with friends, or out on some adventure — but at home I’m laid back, goofy, and always down for a good hang in the common space.
